Cookie Policy (U.S.)

Last updated: October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Besides cookies, we use similar technologies such as your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember preferences that never need to be sent to our servers.

2. What we use

Essential cookies

Required for the Service to work. They cannot be turned off without preventing sign-in.

  • authjs.session-token — HTTP-only cookie with your signed-in session.
  • authjs.csrf-token — protection against cross-site request forgery.
  • authjs.callback-url — remembers where to return after signing in.
  • fi_active_org and fi_sidebar_collapsed — inside the dashboard, remember the organization you selected and whether the side menu is collapsed.

Local storage

  • fi_cookie_consent — stores your choice in the cookie banner: accepted ("Accept all") or rejected ("Essential only"). It stays in your browser until you change or delete it.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

  • _ga — distinguishes unique visitors. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_[ID] — keeps the state of the session. Duration: 2 years.

Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode v2, starting with all storage denied. Until you choose "Accept all" in the banner, the _ga and _ga_[ID] cookies are not set: Google Analytics only receives cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed), which include your IP address and browser data and which Google uses for aggregate statistics. If you choose "Accept all", the cookies above are enabled.

Advertising (Meta Pixel)

Meta Pixel sets Meta's own cookies to measure ad campaign conversions. The Pixel script is not loaded at all — no request is made to Meta — unless you choose "Accept all".

Error monitoring (Sentry)

When an error occurs, and in a small sample of visits, Sentry records technical details and a session recording (navigation and clicks) to help us fix problems. All text, form fields and images are masked in those recordings. Sentry may use your browser's session storage for this; it is not used for advertising.

The consent banner

The banner appears on our public pages on your first visit and offers two choices: "Accept all" (analytics and advertising cookies) or "Essential only" (no analytics or advertising cookies). Your choice applies immediately, without reloading, and also inside the dashboard, where the banner is not shown.

3. Mobile app

Our iOS and Android app does not use browser cookies. It uses encrypted device storage (Expo SecureStore) for your session token (fi_auth_token) and push notification token (fi_push_token), both deleted when you sign out, and for whether you already saw the intro screens (fi_onboarding_done). This data is never shared with advertisers.

4. Third-party cookies

  • Google Analytics 4 — website and platform usage. Google's privacy policy.
  • Meta — ad campaign measurement, only after "Accept all". Meta's privacy policy.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record sets the cookies its secure checkout needs to process your payment. Paddle's privacy policy.
  • Google sign-in — if you sign in with Google, Google may set its own authentication cookies.

5. How to manage cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the banner and at any time. If you switch from "Accept all" to "Essential only", we stop using analytics and advertising cookies from that moment; cookies already set stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — blocking essential cookies prevents signing in.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; we will change the date above and notify material changes by email. Questions: contacto@flotainteligente.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
